Bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh has no constitutional sanction. Indira Gandhi enacted Article 371D to safeguard differential interests of the two regions of the State of AP.
Accordingly if there are any grievances in application of regional reservations respective Legislators or People's representatives have to ask for establishment of a Tribunal to resolve such disputes regarding appointments to public services. Telangana people or T MLAs or MP never raised their for establishment of a Tribunal for redressal of injustices done to T people. That itself shows that there were no big frauds in appointments to government jobs. More over regional reservations as per gentlemen agreement that followed Article 371D must end in 1977 in HYderabad and must end by 1980 in Telangana districts.
N T Ramarao the then CM of AP issued a GO called 610 GO and raked up the controversy of Telangana State. Now in 2009 N C Naidu issued a letter to New Delhi conceding the demand for division of AP State without analysing its consequencies. Even today his words are deceiving the State of AP.
He says he is for Telangana State and wants Justice to Former Andhra State region. How it is possible ? Division of the State itself is INJUSTICE for the people of AP. After division nothing can be left to receive any Justice. People of AP fought for AP since 1911 in Madras State and since 1921 in Telangana region. A Map showing present AP was drawn in 1911 itself by our forefathers. Telugu people's association in Hyderabad was named as " Nizam Andhra Mahasabha ". A resolution for establishment of AP State by separating Telugu districts from Madras State and merging Telugu speaking areas ( Telangana ) with them was passed by NIzam Congress committee in 1950. Future generations will not forget N C Naidu for issuing Consent letter for division of AP. Of course NTR also will be remembered for issue of GO No. 610.
